Since it started in 2015 the service has evolved, transitioning young people into school, college and work experience.
Here at Take 2 we provide an intervention/transition support service for children and young people aged 5-25 years old. Delivering bespoke programmes in partnership with schools, colleges and other providers. We believe working collaboratively with other providers results in the best outcomes for the young people.
Our goal as a team is to provide a nurturing environment using many different approaches to allow young people to grow; giving them the skills to help them manage the many challenges they face within today’s society.
We support our young people in the development of:
- Self-esteem and self-confidence
- Resilience
- Social skills
We provide a wide range of group and individual activities to encourage positive social interactions in the community. This enables us to work towards developing important life skills through the hobbies and interests of the young people. Alongside developing life skills, such interests and hobbies provide essential health and wellbeing benefits.
These activities may include swimming, walking, zoo and aquarium trips, museum visits, team building, cooking and much more.
